The planetary gear revolves around the central sun gear while simultaneously rotating on its own axis. Through its meshing with the outer ring gear, it enables the transmission of power and motion. Its purpose is to take the low-speed, high-torque rotational power captured by the wind rotor blades and, via one or multiple stages of planetary gear systems, increase the speed to the generator's required rated speed, thereby efficiently driving the generator to produce electricity.
 
During operation, the planetary gear rotates around its own axis while orbiting the central sun gear, transmitting torque through meshing with the ring gear. In wind turbine gearboxes, multiple stages of planetary gears convert the low-speed, high-torque rotation of the rotor into high-speed output suitable for driving the generator.
 
The products we supply are precision-Forged Blanks without machined teeth, allowing our customers to perform final gear cutting, grinding, and surface finishing according to their own technical standards.
